Something to Crow About

Come on all you rooster maniacs, let's have some lunch...........

Shhhhhhhhhhhhh.... don't tell anyone, we're having chicken salad !

I found the black chargers at a garage sale for .50 each, the perfect accent for these hand painted rooster luncheon plates..

These dinner plates were from a store here in Atlanta called Old Time Pottery.

Thanks for coming by!

  3. I cannot believe you have roosters to match your roosters! And I thought I was a collector! Those rooster plates are fabulous. Did you make the stacked pumpkin centerpiece? Love it. I love all of this! If you serve chicken salad very often, you may run out of roosters! Laurie (bargainhunr)

  37. Ummmm Yeah...a cider donut for that yellow chair you just finished!!! Hey there is a deal for MEEEEE! I'm willing to take that bet...I love Korto's stuff...but from the little glimpses I got of her collection I wasn't to impressed. I mean even Tim thought that one dress looked like a women's privates lol. And her wedding dress was a disaster! Maybe they didn't show much of her collection because it is good. I thought the glimpses of LeAnns was interesting..but they all seemed to look alike. And you're right...Kenley is BAT CRAP CRAZY. That girl needs to know when to just shut up! I'm gonna lay my donut on......dang this is hard....chit.....errrrr....aaaaaa.......LeAnne. However I can always come back and delete this comment if I'm wrong hehehehehe. Now I just have to convince my hubby to let me watch it instead of the Dodger playoff game. HMMMM wonder who will win this battle!

  41. Hey Rooster Lady, you've still got me looking at roosters!
I stopped by Ross today looking for lampshades & saw SQUARE ROOSTER PLATES. They really were beautiful plates & I immediately thought of you! I resisted buying any roosters though. With all the stuff I've collected, I'm not going down the rooster road... :0} Diane

  42. Hey...they are pretty similar...except I'd kill to have those wonderful dormer windows up on top!! I've always thought the front of ours was too stark. It's pretty cool though how they both sit up on a hill and are the same style and color!
Oh and NO DONUTS FOR YOU! Korto did not get robbed...her stuff was pretty...but leeann's was modern and innovative and pretty dang cool! Can I pick em or what? And I have no problem cutting out the floor and removing MY chair...no problem whatsoever! lol Have a great night...I'm gonna go sulk now that we have to wait a whole year for it to start again...*sigh*
