Black and White with a Citrus Punch

What could be more cheerful than a splash of citrus colors on a canvas of black and white?

After too many rainy gray winter days...

I went to the grocery store...

bought a couple of oranges...

a couple of lemons...

and a few sunflowers...

filled my black and white $1.00 garage sale vase...

and .... tah dah.....

homemade sunshine on the dining table...

Thanks for joining me.............check Susan's blog BNOTP for great tablescapes

  10. Rose, I love your black and white plates, just saw some today at Ross but not enough to do much with. I also love that table runner. Your concept warmed me all over, and I need that with the way the weatherhas been so awfully horrible and depressing.

    Beautiful job. Jackie

  18. I cannot get over that you only paid $1 for that black/white vase. It is gorgeous...my eye was on it in every picture, but have to say, those flowers are beautiful too. The black looks so good combined w/ the orange & yellow.

I was in Home Goods today and saw a rooster that reminded me of you. Well, it didn't remind me of YOU, but of something that I thought you might like or already have. I was trying to remember if you had one on your porch. Funny how we think of our blogging buds when we shop! LOL!
