Okay... sorry I have been busy "santamaking" and not blogging lately! Thought I'd give you sneak peek at one of my larger finished pieces........" The Teddy Collector".
I have been in " The Little Shop of Horrors" as I affectionately call my studio, working around the clock. The place is a wreck... my poor baby Duchess needs a walk... there have been no hot meals made (not even my NoBrainers) and I'm down to my last pair of underwear (laundry has been put off for far toooo long).... Oh yeah, and a good thing that Halloween was this past week because I told everyone that I left the spiderwebs and dust bunnies ON Purpose for a "spookie effect"..... SO......bring on the elves already!!!!! I need help!
I am creating a new blog to post my Father Christmases... many have requested photos of my creations, so I thought this would be a nice way to share them..... it will come out soon.
I love forward to seeing your creations!
ReplyDeleteOh girl he is beautiful and I love Teddy Bears!!!! Can't wait to see the new blog with all your 'treasures'! And for goodness sake get a load of laundry going!!!! lol lol
ReplyDeleteBeen wondering where u r.(lol) Looking forward to seeing your creations. What talent you have. mishelle
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful! I love him...
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your Father Christmas blog. Since I already have mine, I hope you don't make me want to order another one!! But, I can't imagine liking any of them as much as I love mine! laurie
ReplyDeleteOk, you'd better put that Santa down & go do some laundry else you're going to have to go commando. And be sure to let the little sweetie out. Seriously, the Santa is beautiful of course! Can't wait to see the new blog. I saw one in an art gallery this past weekend going for $375. I tell you that because selling just one can fund an awful lot of yard sale purchases!!! Drop a few pieces of ice on the tile and consider the floor mopped! See ya later alligator!
ReplyDeleteOh please don't make us wait long.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Chris
I am very excited to be able to look at your creations,....just can't wait for the new blog...but, I CAN wait while you get your laundry done and your sweetie a hot meal..hey, warm a weiner and have a hot dog! hee hee

ps the "twins" came through with flying colors... just have to keep going every 6 months for the next five years... Thanks
we need to move to Canada so that we can already be deep into the throes of the Christmas season. They have the right idea with getting Thanksgiving out of the way early. I think we need to change our date for Thanksgiving. I'd rather have a longer Christmas season. Who needs turkey dinner anyway? lol
ReplyDeleteOh my... did you really make that beautiful santa??? He is just gorgeous!!!! I'm lost for words!
ReplyDeleteJust so lovely!!!
Have fun making those santas..
if you're in your work-shop alone, you don't need clothes ;-) Keep up the good work! And let the rest of your family do the laundry!! hehe
Monica

ReplyDeleteWhat a great combo Santa and teddy bears, how can you go wrong? I can't wait to see the rest....Robyn
ReplyDeleteYour Santa is amazing!! I too used to do crafts and I know exactly where you are coming from, we did not eat, we recycled dirty clothing, we had to wade thru piles of fabric, patterns, embellishments, etc. It was fun, but kind of glad those days are over. Good for you for having a studio to make your creations, that has to help alot!! If I had a few elves to spare I would send them your way!! Sue, mammawags62 RMS

ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see all your work. YOu are very talented.
ReplyDeleteRose, You are so sweet to ask about my fur babies. I've been a basket case. Murphy, my cocker, is 12 1/2 & has a degenerative spine disease. He had surgery a couple of years ago to release pressure on a disc & nerves. Last week he appeared to have a pinched nerve & lost control of his back legs. He was walking like a person with MS. His legs & feet couldn't do whatever his brain told them to do. We took him to his orthopedic surgeon to see if there's something that can be done. He also has a little heart murmur & his heart has lengthy pauses sometimes, so surgery probably isn't in his future. The Doctor is trying 3 wks of antibiotics & prednisone. He's walking better, so I hope this is a permanent fix. Thank you for asking about us. It means a lot... xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteI can "so relate" to this post.. I'll be looking forward to seeing your post of your wonderful creations..hugs ~lynne~

Hi Rose...Susan sent me to your blog and I'm so glad she did! I remember all of your wonderful spaces from rms. Your "great wall of china" and your two old ladies are 2 of my favorites. Love your blog...Debbie
ReplyDeleteCan not wait to see all you have been working on. You have to get out once in a while and see the sunshine. Turn the light off in the studio for a while.
ReplyDeleteI can't express you how beautiful I think your Santas are. You are amazing.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Chris
Did Santa get eaten by the gobbly wobbly??? It's no fun when our friends don't play with us anymore!
