Here's a little stepping stone that I created using a broken blue and white plate to honor our Min. Schnauzer , Cindi (short for Cinderella).

A trip back in time.

Here are a couple of snaps that I took while revisiting a Botanical Garden in Winter Park, Fla. where I grew up.

Hubby and I spent many a lazy sunny afternoons here while dating.
Doesn't it look like a painting?




Winter Park is known for it's lush Spanish Moss draped oaks and peaceful lakes.




Also very popular are the Coleus. { Not sure I got the spelling correct on that.}
Such brilliant colors... a feast for the eyes.




Wouldn't you love to climb this tree and nestle in the furry ferns?



Oh... the Palmettos. Just love their fan shape and they remind me of S.C...







Just looking up at this beautiful tree ...

Let's go to Charleston this weekend...

I'd like to take you all to one of my favorite cities of all time.
Charleston is a place that will take you back a century or two and will always leave a beautiful image in your mind.
We are so lucky that our daughter is living there and is a dental student at the Medical University of South Carolina...MUSC.. This has given us a chance to truly savor this "southern bell" that is Charleston.

Since a picture is worth a thousand words, I will let them speak to you with little commentary.
As you will see, I am a big fan of wrought iron, so I hope that you will enjoy the tour as much as I did taking these pictures.
