I'm Dreaming of a Red, Blue and White Christmas...

My dining room is one of my favorite rooms to decorate for Christmas, although rather unusual color scheme for the holidays. Here is a peek at my miniature blue and white porcelain tea set I found at one of my "sailin" expeditions.

Would you like a "spot" of tea?

I have enjoyed decorating with my Nandina berries. I have kept the same ones in my blue/white vases for over 8 years!

I love the "freshness" that blue adds when paired with red for Christmas , versus the typical green and red color scheme.

This was the first picture that I posted on Rate My Space... my Great Wall of China...

I found this gorgeous blue and white vintage platter at an antique store in Kennesaw, called Flue the Coop. I fell in love with it, it screamed my name as I passed by it!

Another miniature (thimble sized) teapot...Thanks for coming over to my dining room and have a very patriotic Christmas!

Holy shit, Rose! This room is just GORGEOUS. I mean, over-the-top beautiful. What a great job you've done on it! And I LOVE the blue and red theme, and I usually HATE blue for Christmas. I think you've just changed my mind. It CAN be done and done classy as hell! And that second picture you took? It's perfection! Do you do profession photography? If so, and even if not, please give me some pointers!!!!!!!!!!

You haven't posted in a while, but I think it was worth the wait!!!!!

I was just about to call 9-1-1- because I thought you had expired! LOL! Glad you came back to play with us! Now, about that plate from Kennesaw, I think you misunderstood - they were saying Tardevil, not Santamaker! ;O) Is it gorgeous, or what? Love the blue porcelain! Can't wait to see the rest...because I know there's more!!!

Thanks for coming by! So nice to meet another Atlanta girl. Your home is just beautiful. I do believe our DR wall colors are almost the same. Love your blue & white with the red berries, so yummy! I'm so glad you found me awhile ago & have been reading all this time. I do love those yardsales, as you do too.

I see you were on RMS too, I never got into that much, but I know a lot of new bloggers came from RMS. I'd love it if you would 'follow' me too!

Love the blue and white china with the red berries! Soooo pretty! Fleu de Coop is such a fun place!
No one much seems to like Nandina Domestica anymore...they all say it's too woody. But where would we get our wonderful berries? I'm so glad to see you using them, too. And they don't stick you like holly bushes do...although I use them, too! :-) Susan
