Did you say, "I'm off the wall?" NO! What's on Your Wall !

If you'll look on the right of the china hutch wall, you'll see the tea pot and cup that I got at the Bombay Company a couple of years ago. I loved it, but as you can see, it looks a little lost.

I had grabbed a couple of matted frames with pictures I didn't care about at a garage sale.
Taking the picture out as well as the glass, I had the idea of framing the porcelain tea set. At first I didn't like the fact that it didn't fit inside of the mat, but after playing with it, I loved the idea of it coming out. I thought it gave it more depth.

Went back and bought another set for the right of the hutch!

Here's a view of it from a photo in my recent post: My love affair with Blue and White.

Thanks Barb from Grits and Glamour for sponsoring this great event!

Great idea. I love how they turned out. I really like the one where the pot is tilted to look like it's going to pour.

Oh my gosh, that is the cutest idea! What a unique way to give a small grouping some pop, and the 3-D effect is emphasized with the handle overlapping the mat. Very cool!
