Hooray for the Red White and Blue !

Psssst...if you are looking for Met Monday, please click on the second Santamaker on Between Naps on the Porch links. list. I'm not sure why the first one brings you to this posting.... although.... it's not a bad one to look at if you have a sec.....

This pattern was introduced in 1811. The main scene of the River Tiber shows the Basilica of St. Peter in the distance with the bridge and castle of of Saint Angelo.

Blue Spode: Greek

This pattern was introduced in 1811. The Greek pattern was Spode's most important design inspired by classical culture.

Blue Spode: Warwick Vase

This pattern dates from 1834. It shows a 2nd Century Roman marble vase found in the ruins of Tivoli, near Rome in 1771. It was displayed in the garden of Warwick Castle.

Blue Spode: Aesop's Fables

Introduced in 1830, it was taken from illustrations in the 1793 edition of the Reverend Samual Croxall's Fables of Aesop. "The Lion in Love".

I've been so lazy about blogging lately, just thought I would recycle this tablescape since it reminded me of Independence Day and I wanted to wish you all the Happiest 4th Ever!

Hi Rose...There are many recipes on the web for Baked Honey Mustard Chicken with variations, but here's the one I used: Preheat oven to 350..Wash & pat dry 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, salt & pepper and place in 9X13 baking pan. Mix 1/2 cup EACH of honey, melted butter, Dijon OR regular mustard...Pour over chicken in pan turning to coat well. Cover with foil & bake 1 hour til juices run clear & chicken is tender...This makes a lot of sauce to drizzle over chicken if wanted. ;-) Bo

This layout of your finest is just breathtaking. When do Prince and I come for dinner? I can return the favor with a punchbowl of GiGi's Guaranteed Mint Juleps served in a gold and amber depression era Carnival Glass by the pool.

Let me know, you don't live that far and I'll love to see those awesome pieces and I'd love to show you mine. Show me yours and I'll show you mine.......wait, that sounds a little creepy :)
