Black and White with a Citrus Punch

What could be more cheerful than a splash of citrus colors on a canvas of black and white?

After too many rainy gray winter days...

I went to the grocery store...

bought a couple of oranges...

a couple of lemons...

and a few sunflowers...

filled my black and white $1.00 garage sale vase...

and .... tah dah.....

homemade sunshine on the dining table...

Thanks for joining me.............check Susan's blog BNOTP for great tablescapes

Rose, I love your black and white plates, just saw some today at Ross but not enough to do much with. I also love that table runner. Your concept warmed me all over, and I need that with the way the weatherhas been so awfully horrible and depressing.

Beautiful job. Jackie

Beautiful Rose... It's like I'm looking at an Elizabeth Taylor 'White Diamonds' commercial with all that soft focus. :-)

I cannot get over that you only paid $1 for that black/white vase. It is gorgeous...my eye was on it in every picture, but have to say, those flowers are beautiful too. The black looks so good combined w/ the orange & yellow.

I was in Home Goods today and saw a rooster that reminded me of you. Well, it didn't remind me of YOU, but of something that I thought you might like or already have. I was trying to remember if you had one on your porch. Funny how we think of our blogging buds when we shop! LOL!
